MORE QUEUES  Concerns over Zika in the United States have abated but are not gone. City and county officials in Brownsville, Texas, hosted a Zika Action Day in September to educate residents on how to protect themselves from such mosquito-borne diseases.

Less than a year after the World Health Organization declared Zika is no longer a public health emergency, the virus seems to have fallen from public consciousness, at least outside of heavily affected areas.
