Men with breast cancer have lower survival rates than women

Males receive less treatment and are often excluded from clinical trials

Men make up less than 1 percent of breast cancer cases, but they tend to be diagnosed later and don’t fare as well as women. The U.S. FDA is encouraging breast cancer trials to include male patients.
