Gerald Tape, who served on the Science Service Board of Trustees for more than 30 years, died Nov. 20. As a physicist during World War II, he worked on developing radar technology. He was later the deputy director of the Brookhaven National Laboratory, a member of the President’s Science Advisory Committee, the chair of the Central Intelligence Agency’s Nuclear Intelligence Panel, a commissioner to the Atomic Energy Commission, and the president of Associated Universities Inc.,
