Dubbed the medusoid, this engineered jellyfish made of silicone and heart cells contracts when placed in liquid, mimicking how real jellyfish swim. Caltech, Harvard

Scientists have created an artificial jellyfish that swims with the same synchronized body contractions used by real jellyfish.
