There’s a rescue helicopter, but it doesn’t actually land on the roof of the hospital for the world’s most endangered plants. Rather, the tissue culture lab at the National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG) on Kauai sits in a trim red bungalow with a peaked roof primarily suitable for butterfly landings.
